Purple Natural has put its experience into creating and producing a cosmetic line dedicated to your skin’s well-being, putting efficiency first. We formulated our products based on one single key active ingredient of plant origins: MANGOSTEEN. Its properties, carefully combined with other natural essences, ensure extraordinary results against skin aging and for the protection of the nervous system. The Mangosteen fruit therapy is a true force of nature that will radically change your skin’s appearance.
Mangosteen, coming from the Garcinia Mangostana tree, is a tropical fruit belonging to the Guttiferae family, typical of Southeast Asia. Countries like Thailand, India, and Malaysia, in fact, have appreciated its natural benefits and healing virtues for thousands of years, so much so that the Mangosteen has been renamed “the queen of all fruits”.
Mangosteen trees can reach up to 25 meters in height and their fruits are round, with a very deep and intense purple colour. The pulp inside is divided into 4-8 edible and creamy wedges of a milky white colour, with a faint peach taste, rich in folic acid. The membrane underneath the peel contains polyphenols, including tannin and xanthone. These are powerful antioxidant substances with a strong action against free radicals. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, Mangosteen juice helps our organism to relieve and alleviate inflammatory phenomena affecting the skin, such as acne, eczema and psoriasis, and prevent infections from fungi, plant viruses and bacteria.

The Mangosteen harvesting phase needs to happen right before the ripening phase, so that the fruit is ready immediately after detaching from the tree. In addition, it is very important that the harvest is done manually, without allowing the fruit to fall to the ground. This would provoke unstoppable fermentation processes, which would damage the chemical and organoleptic characteristics of the Mangosteen, making its potential and active ingredients vain, as they are contained in its own composition.
Mineral Salts and Microelements: Potassium, Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron
Vitamins: B1, B2, B6 and C.

Mangosteen is also able to help the cell regeneration, being at the top of the ORAC table (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity). Confronting Mangosteens and blueberries, renowned for its high antioxidant power, we can notice how while a blueberry has a capacity of 3.200 ORAC, a Mangosteen can reach up to 25.000 ORAC.
